We happened in to Yesterday’s last night after another local restaurant didn’t honor our reservation. We were about an hour from home and remembered a place we’d driven by in the past, so we decided to take a chance and see if we could get in without a reservation. When we walked in we were greeted by Evonne and a display of amazing desserts. She agreed to try to work us in and within 10-15 minutes we were seated. The atmosphere was so welcoming - cozy surroundings and an authentically friendly and professional staff. Every menu item was generously portioned, which is rare these days, and beautifully presented. We ordered way too much food, and brought home plenty for leftovers for today. And the desserts... just WOW. I will never buy dessert anywhere else, no joke. By the time we left we felt like family. This will definitely be our new go-to when we’re in the area. All the stars!

Four in our party. We loved the baked brie appetizer. Our entrees included crab cakes, prime rib, coconut shrimp and prime rib salad. Everythingwas excellent. The service was great by our server, Roger. The chairs were very uncomfortable, too hard. I would suggest doing away with the dessert tray. It's unappealing. It's old and nasty looking.. I would rather see a good photo of the actual dessert on a photo sheet. We will definitely be back.

Awesome place! I travel for work and entertain clients everywhere. As i drove by I thought, oh no, that looks odd.... SURPRISE! This was such a cool place. From the second you walk in you feel the whimsical decor welcoming you. Everything on the menu is customizable to your desire. Handcut steaks cooked to perfection? Check. Incredible sides and EVERYTHING IS HOMEMADE! It's almost unbelievable. Had a great business dinner and we are and laughed for 3 hours. You gotta walk around and see the rest of this house turned into fine dining establishment. I'll be back, and you should be there when I stop in! Oh... and I saw these huge homemade cheesecakes on the way out....must go back...

My wife and I had reservations at Yesterday’s Saturday evening just after 5 PM. It was highly recommended to me by a coworker. We had a table ready upon arrival. Atmosphere was so warm and inviting. Our server was excellent and our appetizers arrived very quickly. The meals are plentiful for the money. The food itself was excellent and highly recommend the frog legs and prime rib. Will definitely be bringing others to experience this one of a kind restaurant.

this place intrigues you the minute you step in the door, cozy, great atmosphere and the perfect place to experience the south bend culture, cozy bar where you can watch a sports game, make conversation and eat a great meal not easy to do! The staff is incredible def worth the trip!

Amazing place. Food’s amazing and no better place for desert in this small area. Staff is friendly and make you feel at home. For me bad music can ruin the whole vibe of a place, and happens in most of the places, this place is an exception, old school vocal jazz all day long. Please never change that!

I visited Yesterday's Food Spirits Restaurant for the very first time with my family on Mothers Day and really enjoyed everything about it! The atmosphere was superb. The entire staff is awesome. The restaurant is so yesterday and I loved it. Did I say the food is most delicious? Well it is!! Yesterday's, I will be back, and soon!! :)
